and community service
Willingness to hear and consider the
views of all Moragans
Protect open space lands and Moraga’s magnificent ridgelines from development
Enforce the General Plan’s directive to “Protect ridgelines from development”
and disapprove development proposals to the contrary
Uphold the Moraga Open Space Ordinance
Steer development away from open space and ridgelines
Adopt new ordinances that fully implement the General Plan’s
restrictions on ridgeline and hillside development

Support locally-owned and operated businesses
Revitalize our business centers
Provide pedestrian-friendly residential and senior housing
around our shopping centers
Work closely with established and new businesses
Complete and implement the Moraga and Rheem Park Specific Plans

Build a new community center and gymnasium in the heart of Moraga
Secure private funding for construction
Enhance recreational opportunities for all Moragans
Use the Specific Plan process to plan for needed community facilities
Work with the school districts and sports groups to improve playing fields

Support the public’s right to speak and be heard
Welcome and respect divergent views and opinions in town meetings
Improve the Town's communications with residents
Keep the public informed on Town affairs
